An Industrial Research project is a research carried out by DVMENGINEERING on direct assignment from an Industrial Company. Therefore, it can be launched quickly and is based on the “confidentiality of the results and the related exclusive use rights”. The research projects listed in the tender have greater uncertainty regarding funding as they depend on the evaluation criteria defined by the Public Funding Bodies. Some of the research results may need to be made public and the collaboration of several companies with joint use rights may be required. A research project called for tender must first identify an adequate means of funding, then submit an “Application for Funding” which must be approved. Therefore, months may pass until the actual kick-off. Financial coverage is always a percentage of the total project costs, variable up to 100% depending on the financial means identified.
